Honduras washed Arabica SHG EP, Copan

In the very West of Honduras, close to the borders of El Salvador and Guatemala, coffee is grown around the town of San Marcos. Several volcanos can be found in this area, creating ideal conditions for coffeecultivation. The healthy soils feed the plots along the slopes wherefarmers grow coffee, bananas, plantains, maize, beans, and other crops.

The coffees from this area are known for their notes of chocolate, nut, and caramel with a spark of citric acidity. The body is smooth andlight. They are usually very balanced and constant, which is why thiscoffee is often used as an excellent base for espresso and filter blends.
