Guatemala produces excellent coffees familiar with fresh acidity and fruit flavors. Huehuetenango is one of the three non volcanic regions located at the highest altitude and due to its remoteness, nearly all producers process their own coffee. Fortunately, the region has unlimited number of rivers and growing coffee is extremely easy so a mill can be build just about anywhere. The main harvest is between December and April.
