Grown in the Armenia region at an altitude of 1,500 metres, this micro-lot of the Castillo variety has been developed to offer not only superb flavour but also high resistance and productivity. Developed by the National Association of Coffee Growers, the Castillo variety is more productive than Caturra and demonstrates high leaf resistance.

Features:

• Processing method – Copper and Lychee: The coffee is dried together with the pulp for 72 hours, and during the drying process, lychee and wine yeast are added, which give it a unique aroma and flavour.
• Lychee kernels: The pulp is removed after fermentation, and the beans are left on raised beds, which allows them to dry evenly and retain their freshness.
• A hardy and high-yielding variety: The Castillo variety offers not only excellent flavour but also resistance to various diseases, making it ideal for sustainable farming.
